For the 2025 NFL Season, several Detroit Lions players will change their numbers.
The Detroit Lions revealed on Thursday that 8 different players will be changing their jersey number with the team. They also announced the numbers of the new players who have signed free agency contracts.
Jameson Williams, who was previously ranked No. Jameson Williams switches from No. Jahmyr gibbs, the running back, has moved from No. From No. 26 to no. 0.
Williams’ switch from No. 1 to No. 2 is not surprising. 1. Williams wanted the number when Jeff Okudah was traded by the Lions a few seasons ago, but he decided not to accept it. Williams wore number 1 in his breakthrough college year at Alabama.
Terrion Arnold, the first-round selection in 2024, goes from No. 0 to no. The number 6 was left vacant after Ifeatu Meifonwu moved elsewhere during free agency.
